Download the update file from the "Updates" page. Close Winbooks completely before starting the update. Run the installer as administrator and follow the instructions. Always make a backup of your files first.
You can request a new registration code via the "Registration codes" page. Complete the form with your serial number. The code will be sent by e-mail to codes@optitech.be.
The serial number is on the Winbooks CD packaging, on your purchase invoice, or in the software itself via Help > About Winbooks.
Yes, Winbooks Accounting 8.0 is fully compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11, in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
With a standard licence you can install Winbooks on one PC. For use on multiple PCs you need the network or client/server module. Contact Optitech for a quote.
Virtual Invoice is a Winbooks module that automatically recognises incoming invoices via OCR technology and processes them in the accounting system. This saves considerable time on invoice entry.
In Winbooks, go to File > Backup. Choose a storage location (external drive or network folder recommended) and confirm. Save your backups regularly and in a safe location.
